John received his B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017. Following graduation, he worked with and developed electronic medical records software and assisted hospitals in improving patient care. John got his start in genomics and bioinformatics at the University of Minnesota Medical School working on various pediatric cancers - germ cell tumors, hepatoblastoma, and acute myeloid leukemia. He has helped develop software focused on CNV analysis and built various analysis pipelines for genomics research. Welcome John!
