Ellen is a PhD student in the Human Genetics program at Vanderbilt University and is co-mentored by Dr. Sandra Sanchez-Roige at UCSD and Dr. Lea Davis at VUMC.

She joined the lab in 2023 after graduating from UCLA with a BS in Computational Biology. She is broadly interested in understanding the genetic basis of neuropsychiatric disorders and will be working on integrating functional data with complex trait mapping approaches to study opioid use disorder.
