Sevim is a third-year undergraduate student at UC San Diego studying Human Biology and Global Health. Sevim joined the lab in October 2020. She intends to go to medical school and aspires to become a psychiatrist specializing in addiction. She is interested in understanding the genetic predisposition and biological mechanisms behind substance use disorders to help create more comprehensive treatment plans. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, reading on the beach, and going to the theatre. Welcome, Sevim!
